About MBHN

MBHN is a network of five community behavioral health organizations that was formed to develop and implement innovative strategies to improve health outcomes and reduce medical costs for individuals with intensive behavioral health needs. The MBHN member agencies have each been in existence for several decades, and they cover the vast majority of the state collectively serving 13 political jurisdictions and over 20% of the consumers of the Maryland Behavioral Health System. They have extensive experience serving individuals with serious mental illness through a range of comprehensive community-based services.

Mission of MBHN

The mission of Maryland Behavioral Health Network (MBHN) is to develop a network of innovative behavioral health providers to improve quality of care by building the capacity to implement data-driven services and to share financial risk.
